The club is open whenever there is sufficient light to play. Locker rooms open from 7.00am.
Monday-Saturday: 8.00am to 7.00pm.
Sunday 8.00am to 6.00pm.
Reduced hours during winter months.

Upton by Chester Golf Club is situated on the north side of Chester between the A41 and the A5116 (Liverpool Rd) in a quiet residential area with easy access to the A55, M53 and M56 Motorways. Click map to enlarge.
By car from the M53 Junction 12
Follow the signs for Chester on the A56 for 0.4 mile. At the round-about turn right onto the A41. Travel north for approx.1.4 miles to the second set of traffic lights in Upton and turn left (Old Petrol Station on left hand side just before the lights). Fork right after about 250 yards into Upton Lane opposite the "Wheatsheaf" pub. The Club entrance is about 500 yards on the left hand side at the end of a tall brick wall.
By Train
The station in Chester is on West Coast mainline with easy access to all major towns in the area. Taxis are available – 5 minute journey.
From the centre of Chester
Leaving from the centre of Chester on the inner ring road, at the ‘fountain’ roundabout travel north along the A540 for 200 yards and then turn right onto the A5116 Liverpool Rd for about 1.4 miles. Immediately after the Frog pub on the right hand side, turn right into Upton Lane. The Club House is about 400 yards on the right hand side.
