Originally laid out as a 9 hole course in 1934 there has been many changes to what is now today's course with its 18 USGA greens providing year round play at the end of the beautifully tree lined fairways. The Club gained a Silver award in 2007 from the HSBC Regional Course Ranking, run in conjunction with Golf Monthly whose editor describes the rankings as a most useful guide for golfers who want a great day out as well as a serious golfing challenge.
